For a long time now the members of Nobody Knows have been interested in history related problems of society and the current tendency of mediocrity. In ‘François – A Musical Story of Violence’ the ‘federal folkloristic“ lads as well as the ‘polka-ish’ drummer lady try to find an answer to these problems. They caricature themselves once again and fight against the demands on music videos regarding their pure usefulness. Nonsense at its best!

Bei der DVD gefällt vor allem die (gerade für eine Band eurer Größe) sehr luxeriöse Aufmachung und das Poster wurde bereits stilsicher mitten im Wohnzimmer platziert. Das Video an und für sich wurde ja bereits vorher auf DuRöhre für grandios befunden und das making-of ist ebenfalls sehr nett geraten. Was mich als Nicht-Im-Showbuiseness-Tätigen tatsächlich verblüfft hat, ist, wie viel (Zeit-)Aufwand in solch einem dann doch eher kurzen Westerndrama steckt...
