Reiterated honouring in our home town

As one of the most popular bands in the region we were awarded with the second cultural award of the town Stendal. We were acknowledged for our engagement to establish cultural events of a special kind in the region, among others.

The internet radio and online magazine celtic-rock.de awarded the title ‘word up’ from our live album ‘folKing around’ for its reoccurring pole position on the charts with the admission into the permanent hall of fame.

Award for ‘we folk You’

The internet radio station and online magazine celtic-rock.de voted our album ‘we folk You’ for best album of February 2010.

Collaboration on CD production

The Martin Rühmann Band called on Max to play the violin on their album ‘Die Erde und Du’. His participation on the record as a guest musician also contributed to the success of the album to also being broadcasted by the German radio station MDR Figaro.

Composition of a musical score for a motion picture

As part of the ‘Filmfest München’ (summer film festival in munich) 2010 the BR (German TV broadcast station) called for tenders to compose a musical score for a not yet exclusively scored short film. Maximilian Heinrichs successfully participated in the contest and ranked among the best submissions.

Honour by the federal state for our second album

2010 was the year that we once again had a chance to win the youth’s cultural award for our work on an own album. This time it was the new ‘we folk You’ that received a nomination.

Award for live performance and album

As in every year the internet radio station and online magazine celtic-rock.de let their readers and listeners cast a vote for the best band of 2010. We came in second place in the categories ‘Band of the year’ and ‘Best live act’ as well as our album ‘we folk You’ in the category ‘Best album’.

Contribution to the sampler of February 2010

February 2010 Nobody Knows contributed to a sampler of the well-known music magazine Zillo. They used the song ‘French Toast’.

Nomination for TV award

Nobody Knows was nominated for the award ‘Goldener Spatz’ with their work on the TV series ‘Bei uns und um die Ecke’. ‘Goldener Spatz’ is a German children’s media festival.

‘Bei uns und um die Ecke’ – TV series

In September 2008 we collaborated in one segment of the ARD TV series ‘Bei uns und um die Ecke’. This loosely translates to ‘At our home and down the road’. The series was broadcasted on 21/05/2009 in celebration of the 60th anniversary of constitutional rights and received great feedback. In Summer 2009 it was presented at the youth film festival and is expected to win an award.

Nobody Knows on the Radio

On 04/07/2009 there was a segment on the middle German radio programme MDR 1 Radio Sachsen-Anhalt about us as a band. It was broadcasted complete with an interview and samples from songs. You can download the segment here by clicking on this link.

Honour by our home town

After we spend several years playing private gigs, in 2006 we started establishing ourselves in the cultural image of our home town Stendal. Because of us being well perceived in the public, we received the cultural promotion award for youth of Stendal.

Honour by the federal state for collaboration

In spring 2008 the federal state of Saxony-Anhalt nominated Nobody Knows for an award for the contribution to the book ‘Freistunde’ of the writing circle ‘Es wird …’. For this we exclusively recorded the attached album.

Honour by the federal state for our own album

In 2008 the federal state of Saxony-Anhalt nominated us for the youth’s cultural award for actively shaping the cultural landscape of the state. We managed to expand our range of influence with our gigs and record releases.
